The DeskCenter® Management Suite optimizes a number of administrative tasks within IT organizations. To the tasks of administrators and decision makers belong – unnecessarily – the manual maintenance of data banks and the consolidation of different databases. Numerous isolated applications complicate the performance of this task even more.
Taking this into account, all PCs, servers, assets, configurations and applications are administrated efficiently and entirely from a central point. The integration of all modules into one application and one user interface enables a fast and effective working method and the solution can be embedded into existing IT infrastructures. Our first class inventory of hardware and software information generates a consistent database for a professional IT Lifecycle Management.
The Management Suite comprises one of the most comprehensive product portfolios on the market and helps decision makers and IT managers to save time and to perform all IT processes and guidelines in the organization fast and reliable.
The foundation
The basic module already comes with some powerful functions:
Hard and Software Inventory - The combination of different manual and automatic methods of data detection and inventory assures a maximized inventory quota.
Licence Management - Compares the installed software in the network with the number of purchased licences on the base of a Knowledge Base and divides them into three states (sub licencing, correct licencing and over licencing).
Asset Management - In addition to predefined data you can add user specific master data for each asset.
User Management - The linkage between users (import from ADS/NDS) and assets eases the search for the IT staff, if there are questions or problems concerning hardware, considerably.
User Permissions - Specific rights can be assigned to users in order to restrict the access to modules or to parts of them.
Cost Center Management - Assets, software, users and helpdesk tickets can be allocated to cost centers.
Reporting - The reporting tool allows full access to the open Microsoft® SQL-database. There is the possibility to install the reporting tool as stand alone application for example for controllers or decision makers.

DeskCenter Database
The DeskCenter Management Suite saves all data in a SQL database based on the Microsoft® SQL Server. Thereby, the database interface is open and hence integrable into external systems.
